Denervation

Denervation, also known as radiofrequency ablation, is a well-established procedure used to treat chronically activated pain fibers on a long-term basis. Once the exact source of pain has been identified, the affected facet nerves are precisely treated using a radiofrequency probe, following the strict scientific standards set by the Spine Intervention Society (SIS).

Denervation is particularly well-suited for treating facet joint pain in the cervical (C-spine), thoracic (T-spine), and lumbar (L-spine) regions.

At the SchmerzLOS Medical Center, we have successfully used the Sinergy method for many years to perform nerve fiber ablation. Our center is internationally recognized for its expertise in this field, and patients can expect lasting pain relief for several years – with no complications. Thanks to the minimally invasive nature of the procedure, no hospital stay is required. Even chronic pain conditions that have persisted for years can be effectively targeted and treated with this method.
