European premiere of interventional pain therapy

European premiere at the SchmerzLOS Center

A novel interventional pain therapy procedure has been successfully used for the first time in Europe at the SchmerzLOS Center since its official approval. The two specialists, Dr. Wolfgang Stelzer and Dr. Dominik Stelzer, performed an innovative, ultrasound-based pain nerve ablation—completely without needles.

Unlike conventional methods, this procedure does not require any punctures in the tissue. This avoids tissue irritation during the procedure and eliminates the need for antibiotics, which were previously necessary due to the risk of infection. At the same time, the healing and recovery phase is significantly shortened.

In addition to delighted patients, media representatives and international experts in pain therapy were also present at the European premiere.

With this new procedure, the Zentrum SchmerzLOS is expanding its range of services to include another scientifically based and state-of-the-art approach to pain treatment – with the aim of treating a wide variety of pain syndromes in an even more targeted and sustainable manner.
